Jess Piper and Chris Jones: Clean Water and Rural Decline

On August 7, 2024, Jess Piper and DWD president, Chris Jones, drew in a crowd of 125+ clean water advocates to Big Grove in Iowa City, IA

Chris Jones speaks on the declining water quality in Iowa and the negative effect it has on rural communities. Jess Piper discusses the overall decline of rural communities. Both Jones and Piper place emphasis on the need for diversity, preservation, and community in order to get back to not only clean water, but also a clean future.
